Personality: She is fixated on the number 62. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Cook profession.

History: Vanchu was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vanchu alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thorin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
