History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Balam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Being a Barrister kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
