History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Modean took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Kaladan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Glassblower. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Orc, and stands approximately 5'3". He dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a green coat with white slacks, and his gloved hand is found clutching a sickle. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the south to a Detective, Jaxi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
