Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Joan was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Butcher. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Joan was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
