Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Veloptima is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Servant and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her son

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a simple tan robe with yellow stripes complete with hood. His auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aust was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Astar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Menny isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Menny grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Menny. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Marshal; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
