Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He wears a yellow costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'11" when asserting himself. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are amber.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a halberd on her belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'0" when asserting herself. Her white hair is smooth and relatively long. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in halberd use. After a long history of fighting, Grai and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Description: This malnourished man wears a black shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and white pants. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ur-Lasu is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
