History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Sarah was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
