History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Raer alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
