Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a pastel coat. Her fur is short and beige. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Spear does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Spear was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Actor, but she got bored and became a Carter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
