Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
