History: Valafar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emmeline was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

After coming to the age of reason, Markosian took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
