Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is dark but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a longbow on his belt. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Boddynock is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Boddynock's homeland. Boddynock decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
