Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Suhnae was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Suhnae never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: She was born in the south. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
