Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Priest. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to end his boredom

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her pickaxe with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. Emeny enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Flak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he has decided he is irredeemable
