History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Mortician father left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
