History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second son.

Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a Shepherd, her father struggled to pay the bills. She found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and her religion dominates her actions
