History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to find somewhere to settle down
