History: Nelkin hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nelkin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired him part-time. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.
