History: Borun was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her silver hair is knotted and matted. Her green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a Sage, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Eva's homeland. Eva decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears dull white sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed monstrous two handed axe, just in case, and he perpetually has his monstrous two handed axe ready. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Thakrak's homeland. Thakrak decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Dwarven compassion.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'7" when asserting himself. He has a very tight haircut. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to open a new tavern
