After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: Griselda hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Griselda was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright.
