History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.

History: She got into the Dilettante business at a young age. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Caramip alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She tends to her Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
