History: Abalaba was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Abalaba never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rhogar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Rhogar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Paela was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.
