Shava was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Standing 4'11", this man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Gerald is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.

History: Galinndan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to be a barkeep again
