History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Astar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Astar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Ranala was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Barkeep. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions
