Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and Modean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Detective.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was a Fisher, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a fisher again

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Orc culture. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Half-Orc compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-orc people
