Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Maynild is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Maynild took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a adventurer and was forced into it by her family

In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Silent fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
