History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Dustin has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Merla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Merla liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
