History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zaffrab was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dyer born in the past three hundred years. Nalral enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Dyer, Nalral learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He struck the Dyer job and began his own company from there.
