History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Peren and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Peren discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Peren fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with her Merchant father left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
