History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ranala alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Varg was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varg decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to prove his worth to the world
