History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Ashgarn took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
