History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: A pudgy man standing about 2'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Fargas took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Kerkad hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
