History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Cumpen is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
