History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Junk Dealer responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her childhood dream was to be a Performer, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is greedy; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Armorer business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.
