History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mastema's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Mastema and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
