She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bookbinder. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Mastema hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mastema alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bounty Hunter. Recently the stress of being a Bounty Hunter has made it difficult for him to sleep.
