His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
