History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Astar began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: Trym was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Eggren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
