History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She became a Tanner soon after.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Willow is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Courier father left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Voice: Nasally tone

Description: A plain young-adult man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His green eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Fargrim hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fargrim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fargrim. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She is portly but not overly obese. Her fur is beige and very short. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Shifting is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
