History: Modean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

History: Urshar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has worked as a Miller like her mother before her.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Marshal business.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Left-Handed was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
