History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Shadow was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shadow's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Emen's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Emen was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She bought a falchion and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adran. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
