History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Vanuath was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vanuath's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Saphara wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Saphara lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After months of barely getting by, Saphara managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Adran was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Shedinn was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
