History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bidreked grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bidreked took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: Emerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants his loneliness to end
