History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Hlin was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Born in the west to a Roofer, Beleth learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and balancing her hectic life and new roofer responsibilities is difficult
