Description: This younger middle-aged man wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His hair is auburn and curly. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Umpen abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a axe, but if one is not available he will default to his greataxe. His blue crest is braided into rings. His red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Dragonborn, and stands approximately 6'2". She very much looks the part of a Tanner, and her gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. Her green crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Her red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Farideh lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Masseuse, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Scribe. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and half-elven compassion
