History: River was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She became a Bather soon after.

Description: This dark-skinned female prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: She is lean but muscular and typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull brown iron scale mail. Her brown hair is heavily combed to the right. Her green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mortician. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Althaea was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.
