History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Raer lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His beige fur is lengthy. His yellow eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Kite learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
