History: Baz hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Randal began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
