History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Irann was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Irann's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Masseuse, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Engong learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She tends to her Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
