History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. At a young age her father died while driving off some orcs. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in spear use. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
